Mirjam Mahler writes poems and stories. She says her body is German, her heart is Spanish and her words are mostly English. She swims in lakes year-round, hosts writing workshops and book clubs.
Her poems have been published in numerous anthologies and journals and she published her first collection Cold Water Poems in January of 2024. In her second collection, Warm Water Poems, published in September of 2024 she shares poems about warmer water and her thoughts on completing the challenge of swimming in 24 different bodies of water in 2024.
Mirjam is co-editor of Facing Goodbye – a poetry anthology for The Wee Sparrow Poetry Press together with Jane Hanson @pets_love_art1 published in July of 2024.
She volunteers at The Wee Sparrow Poetry Press and Consilience Journal and has has collaborated with editing and layout in numerous projects.
