I worked on “Hotspur and Friends: Pollinators” a new children’s book doing book design and layout. Artwork and story by Colin Thom from The Wee Sparrow Poetry Press.
“Hotspur and Friends“ is a series of adventures featuring a very old tortoise called Hotspur who lives in a large garden, in a city by the sea.
All royalties are donated to Guide Dogs UK
Colin Thom is a retired Scottish architect who trained at the Mackintosh School of Architecture in Glasgow. He spends his retirement sketching in pencil and watercolour and words.
His artwork illustrates The Wee Sparrow Poetry Press.
Founded by Claire Thom in 2022, The Wee Sparrow Poetry Press is an indie publisher which creates poetry anthologies and digital zines.
100% of the proceeds from sales of our anthologies is donated to charity.
